My Internship Experience

About Myself
I have recently completed an 8-month sales assistant internship at I.T. It was a rewarding experience that allowed me to gain valuable experience in the Fashion industry.
The first significant lesson I have learn is how to speak to people. Meeting new people becomes simpler when I become a sale, and I do it a lot. Becoming comfortable with discussion open my doors. Marketing work forces me to step out of my comfort zone and talk to new people. The larger I network, the simpler it will be for me to create new contacts.
Another lesson I have learn from sales is to get my customer to talk more than I do. I will try to hear their problem when talking to people and have a solution for them. They will appreciate the support and understand that I am here to assist them. By listening more than I am talking, I learnt how to ask the correct questions at the correct moment. Listening is a skill that many people do not take steps to improve. I am giving away data when I first talk and possibly committing myself to a situation. Listen, learn, and then talk.
